Sheldon Road Methodist Church is part of the Chippenham Circuit, which comprises 8 local churches and chapels, each having its own Church Council, and sharing two full-time ministers and 17 local preachers.
The Chippenham Circuit is one of 24 Circuits comprising the Bristol District, which extends from Weston super Mare to Swindon and Tewkesbury to Glastonbury, and whose Chairman is Rev A Ward Jones.The Bristol District is managed by a District Synod, and has the distinction of encompassing John Wesley's Chapel and the Charles Wesley Heritage Centre.
